Easy to prepare meatball sandwich recipe with meatballs heated in seasoned tomato sauce and topped with provolone cheese

Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce with Basil, Garlic and Oregano

3 tablespoons Hunt's® Tomato Paste

24 appetizer size frozen cooked Italian style meatballs

6 hot dog rolls

6 thin slices (3/4 oz each) provolone cheese

Directions

1Position oven rack 4 to 6 inches from broiler; preheat broiler. Stir together tomato sauce and tomato paste in large skillet. Add meatballs; cover. Heat over medium-high heat 10 minutes or until meatballs are hot, stirring occasionally.

2Meanwhile, place rolls on baking sheet; broil 1 minute or until toasted lightly.

3Place 4 meatballs with sauce on each roll. Top each with cheese. Broil just until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
